It just occurred to me as I was sorting through my old blog entries that I never shared the article that ran in Vows Magazine this past Spring! The article was a feature on Rebecca's Wedding Boutique, and I was hired to provide the photographs for the spread! It was very exciting!
Well, as you may be able to tell, I have redesigned my logo, blog and website! I think I have finally created a color scheme and logo that I LOVE and am going to make the official branding for my company! I had announced a few weeks ago that my blog would be moving to Wordpress in order to eventually upgrade the layout. But now, I'm so happy with my new theme here on Blogspot, that I think I'm going to stay for a while longer! :-) I hope all this jumping around doesn't confuse anyone too much!
And now for the exciting things to come...in about a week and a half, I will be traveling back home to San Antonio and Houston, TX! I have several photo sessions with lots of great people lined up, including the winner of my recent Facebook contest, Kristina!! I can't wait to share all the good stuff from those sessions once I get home! Be on the look out the next couple weeks for all sorts of fun stuff!
Hi all! I’ve posted a list of clothing and makeup tips in the INFORMATION tab! Check it out for ideas on what to wear for your photo shoot! (Some of the tips are specifically geared for High School Senior Sessions, but most are good for other types of portrait sessions, as well!)

I sent in my photos for the feature on Rebecca's Wedding Boutique today. It will run in the March/April 2010 issue of VOWS: Magazine! I can't wait to see how they turn out in the spread! I'll be sure to share the finished project with all of you!
Also today, I signed up for a 6 week photography class at the University of Louisville! I'm really excited to learn more about the techniques of creating beautiful photography!

I have two projects coming up in the next couple of months that I am very excited about! The first one is next week. The boutique where I work is going to be featured in the January/February issue of Vows magazine. I have been asked to provide the photos that will accompany the article! I will be a published photographer!
The second project is photographing my cousin's wedding! Amy and Joe are getting married April 3, and I can't wait to capture their special day!

Happy New Year! I've decided to make 2010 the year to pursue one of my passions...starting a photography portfolio, hopefully one day leading to a business of my own! This year, I also hope to enroll in photography/communications classes. I have always been interested in capturing beautiful images and priceless moments on film. I've recently been given several opportunities to explore this desire even more, and I thought that a blog would be the best way to share my work with all of you as I learn and develop my skills!
